Shared Responsibility with Community Partners
Shared responsibility with the community to ensure community resources are accountable, responsive, and culturally sensitive
• Identify service gaps and which ones need to be fostered more
• Seek feedback on how to improve working relationships during supervision
• Invite community partners to participate on workgroups and in planning meetings
• Advocate for strengthening informal partnerships
• Monitor and inquire about the delivery of culturally competent services
• Encourage workers to seek community partner participation
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff who are colocated, ensuring support for their needs
• Continually recognize the community resources that are working well during consultation, program integrity, etc
.• Elevate success stories as well as concerns to provide feedback to service providers to improve services
• Ensure that staff are knowledgeable in confidentiality procedures
• Participate in communicating with community partners

Identifying and strengthening informal and formal resources in every community
• Ensure that safety networks have been tested and are working
• Have ongoing discussions about community resources with staff in supervision, unit meetings, program integrity, etc.
• Be aware of resources by attending community meetings/open houses and sharing information with other regions (e.g., Learning Circles, emails, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Policy Analyst meetings)
• Have targeted discussions with workers and supervisors within region and, if possible, in other regions to identify and strengthen knowledge of community resources and partnerships (e.g., Learning Circles)
• Identify resource information and report to line staff and managers
• Have ongoing discussions about community resources with staff in supervision, unit meetings, program integrity, etc.

• Encourage and support the voice of the community and families when involved in case management or assessment
• Be knowledgeable on community-based organiza-tions (CBOs) that can provide resources and interventions that may keep families intact in their community
• Build relationships with local childcare providers to support children remaining in their community
